We would like to congratulate the world bowls team for their efforts at the 2008 Championships.  The Womens team qualified for the quarter finals in Singles and Pairs. Where the men’s side brought home Bronze Medals in Singles and Triples. Congrats to all players for their hard work and dedication.

Ryan Bester and his team of kiwis denied Gary Lawson his tenth New Zealand
Championship by defeating him in the semi-final of the New Zealand Fours
Championships.
During the 17th end of his very close previous game, Ryan played a great shot
with his last bowl to score a 6 and break the game open.
