Mason Charity Classic – 08

The Mason Charity Classic is in the Vault and was a great success. We were able to raise $5,410 for Canuck Place on a wonderful day at the West Vancouver Lawn Bowls Club. Over 26 teams participated with spectators and donations coming in throughout the day from people who helped give to the charity. WVLBC club members were on hand to help with the tournament, from registration to other duties that were situated throughout the club. So I thank everyone for the help. Also a special thanks to the bowlers who came out and gave their time.  It was great to have you guys there to demonstrate and answer any questions that came about. It couldn’t have been done without you guys!!!

A special thanks to Popeyes Supplements – North Vancouver for all their support for the tournament. Marc provided great prizes along with supplements for the tournament. Another special thank you is to Lulu Lemon who donated to the prize table and showed their skills on the bowling greens, was great to you guys there!! The West Vancouver Lions Club provided lunch for everyone and Starbucks coffee kept everyone going with the magic bean for the morning. A sizeable donation was made from Irwin Commercial Financial so I thank the company for stepping up and contributing to tournament, which really meant a lot. Hyper Apparel also donated all the proceeds from shirt sales along with a sizeable donation.
