Pershick ends World #1’s run for three…

Geof Pershick (North Vancouver, BC) handed the Worlds #1 the biggest defeat in three years as it ends his run to a third World Title. Pershick came out gunning as he handed Australia’s Leif Selby a 8-6 9-4 straights set loss to continue his run to the gold medal. In a call with Pershick he said “Played a great game and just took my time. I knew that Leif is a great player and just wanted to go out and show what I could do”
