117th WOBA Week Rolling Along…

The Western Ontario Bowling Association is still one of the most prestigious bowling events in North America. In it’s 117th consecutive year, the W.O.B.A. remains the oldest tournament on the continent. With over $15,000 in prize money and prizes the tournament attracts bowlers from all over the globe. Open Fours commenced on Sunday and continues into Monday with the finals on Monday evening Fairmont 6.30pm..
Tuesday saw Dylan Jacobs play the final of the Open Singles vs long time Canadian National Mark Sandford. In close battle it was Dylan who took home the Championship. Wednesday and Thursday are Mens and Womens Pairs that are continuing on today with the finals at Fairmont at 6.30pm. This tournament is always a fun enjoyable event that sees competitors come from all across Canada and the US. The week concludes with Mixed Pairs..lots of fun giveaways, door prizes.
