WIBC Tounrnament Over for Canadians

It was a tough go for Laila Hassan (ON) and Kevin Jones (ON) at the 2012 WIBC Championships. With not much time for preparation and time in-between flights. Laila and Kevin arrived with little to no time to practice or get used to the time change and found themselves behind the eight ball after day one. The second day wouldn’t prove to be any better as they lost they final round robin games knocking them out of contention.

In the first draw of the day the crew came out fighting losing the first set 11-3 coming back in the second to tie 6-6 in the second set. Unfortunately they wouldn’t qualify to the knock out rounds.

Congrats on representing Canada and giving your time to head overseas to play for our country.
