Battle of the Wrights goes to Canada…

In the battle of the Wrights, it was Mary who came out on top. Mary Wright (White Rock, BC) came up with the biggest win of her career as she beat Katrina Wright of Australia 8-7, 2-14 6-1 in a tie break. This was a must win for Australia as the win was needed to make it through to the play offs.

Mary will close out the tournament in 8th place in her section with a 4-7 record. Sets W/L 9.0-13.0 and shots for/against 144-208. Congratulations to Mary on her first of many international journeys for Canada.
