The Sport Keeps Growing….

The sport of Lawn Bowls continues to grow across the country. EMC Sports – A 100 per cent increase of local lawn bowling enthusiasts was reported this year at the Annual General Meeting of the Almonte Lawn Bowling Club. This was brought forward by Irene Arrowsmith, Membership Convenor.

Held Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the club’s premises in Almonte, the new members, along with longer-standing members gathered to enjoy a pot-luck dinner followed by the business meeting.
